Ya Khal is 6 tracks of an electro Shaabi music discovering the traditional Egyptian wedding music style and representing it with contemporary vision in music and in performance by a collaboration between Ibrahim X & YUNIS.

Ibrahim X (b. 1996 - Kafr El-Dauwar) is an Egyptian singer, composer, songwriter and MC/Nabatchi performer and a part of a group who found a music label called Kafr El-Dauwar Records, He released his first album "ya khal" in collaboration with YUNIS, the album that has a new vision for the Egyptian shabbi music by using the Egyptian wedding aesthetics like MC/Nabatchi and bring it to studios for the first time.

YUNIS (b. 1994 - Kafr El-Dauwar) is an Egyptian Ney/Keyboard/Electronics player, Music Producer, and music researcher. He has composed the soundtracks of some short films and documentaries. He is also a co-founder of Kafr El-Dauwar Records, an independent digital record label interested in contemporary and experimental music, founded by a group of young artists with the aim of creating a musical movement in the city, by supporting a group of artists to start their music from Kafr El-Dauwar with the potential of going with the music to the farthest point it could arrive.

In his music, YUNIS seeks inspirations from the popular Egyptian folkloric heritage, which boasts many instruments, tools, and musical styles. He then reads and analyzes the musical legacy and presents it with the forms of his contemporary time.
